The forest in this area is a large area dominated by trees.  It offers a complex ecosystem with diverse plant and animal life.  The area has intricate relationships between plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms.  Because the region has distinct seasons, the forest has diverse flora and fauna, including various trees, along with deer, bears, and river otters.

The forest provides a natural habitat for an array of plants and animals.  Various aromas include earthy, damp, musty, fragrant, and floral.  The sunlight filters through the dense canopy, casting shadows on the forest floor.  Your emotions might be tranquil, serene, enchanting, captivating, magical, or peaceful.

As you continue your journey, you might wonder what the Native Americans did in this forest.  They once resided in a village located just a few miles downstream from the falls.  Abrams Falls was named after a Cherokee Indian named Chief Abram.
